Cultural Self-Awareness: Me, Myself, & I:

Experts agree that the first step in becoming more equitable and inclusive is to have a solid understanding of your own culture. Why is that? Because in order to understand cultures and backgrounds that are different from your own, you must be able to identify the elements of your own culture that appear unique to another person’s perspective. This interactive workshop will guide participants to reflect, explore, and develop their understanding of their own cultural self-awareness. Participants will gain an understanding of how they are “showing up” and how that plays a role in getting the best out of those we serve.
