Thanks to a generous grant from Wisconsin Humanities, GCC was able to partner with Nurturing Diversity Partners to deliver three community workshops addressing the issue of racial disparity in Southeastern Wisconsin in an honest and data-driven way.

Our goal was to help begin the process of healing and building a more welcoming, inclusive place for people to live, work, go to school, and visit.

 

Stronger Together provided community members with a common understanding of the background to the racial disparities that exist today and a common language which addresses the ways in which we can positively affect change in our own community. 

 

It was amazing to see people from all backgrounds come together with open hearts and minds to learn together, talk together, grow together, and sincerely enjoy being together.
