Support Upcoming Community Outreach Efforts
Germantown, WI November 24, 2020 - The Germantown Community Coalition (GCC) has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the US) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick off the holiday giving season, #Giving Tuesday inspires people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
GCC has joined the #GivingTuesday movement because it aligns so closely to our mission to work in partnership with the community to build a safe, welcoming community based on principles of kindness, inclusion, equity and respect. Harnessing the power of this global movement will help us to bring even more resources and events to our community and allow us to share our story with others. This #GivingTuesday our goal is to raise money to support a scholarship fund, community events and educational opportunities.
