Serving Drinks & Serving a Purpose at Music at the Pavilion

On July 17, the spirit of community was alive and well at Music at the Pavilion, where the GCC crew had the joy of stepping behind the bar and serving community members. As guest bartenders for the evening, we raised tips to support our mission of bringing free educational events to the community.

Every dollar dropped in the tip jar fueled something bigger than a beer. It helps us create inclusive spaces where neighbors can learn, connect, and grow together. Our community education events are designed to reflect our core values: kindness, inclusion, equity, and respect. Your generosity means that these events remain free, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participating in a GCC event.

We're deeply grateful to the Germantown Park and Recreation crew for inviting us to be part of this successful event and for making sure everything ran smoothly all night long. (Germantown has the hardest working Park & Rec department, and they deserve praise & recognition for the many events they organize all summer long.) To every person who tipped us, thank you for investing in a safer, more welcoming community for all.
